The Monaro Education Foundation (MEF) held their highly anticipated ART on the Monaro in August and were thrilled to raise over $30,000. These funds will go towards helping local school leavers achieve their career dreams by supporting them in their tertiary education.

MEF Chairperson, Libby Litchfield, said “we were bowled over by the incredibly generous response from the Monaro community.”

One of those who purchased an item on the night was a teacher who had previously been given financial assistance by the MEF while he studied his teaching degree, and who now works in the local school.

Just over 100 paintings, sculptures and framed photographs were sold, with over 200 people attending the auction event.
